My super sweet Valentine's Day

Hello my beauties! I hope you all had a wonderful Valentines Day - I know I did! Not only did I have one sweetheart to spend the day with...I had eight!
I would like to introduce you to the best Valentines a girl could ever ask for...
My wonderful and beautiful class - yes I am a toddler teacher and holidays are even more magical and special when they are spent with children.
I spent the day oohing and awwing over how cute my children looked in their red and pink outfits, handing out and receiving Valentine's Day cards, reading Twas the Night Before Valentine's Day and Aurthur V-day books as well. For our party we ate pretzels, pudding, jello, lots of cookies, and a delicious fruit salad. We even fed our classroom fish, Linus, some fish food at the party. We sang loudly to the Annie soundtrack. (Yes, the broadway Annie soundtrack...the older kids in the class know the words to Tomorrow.) We did the cha cha slide, and then did a little encore to Wheels on the Bus and the Hokey Pokey.
The parents in my class gave me flowers, some chocolate, and lots and lots of Valentine Day cards that I have hanging on a string in my classroom.

When it was time for me to go home I gave them all a kiss goodbye and came home, ate my box of chocolate, put my flowers in my bedroom and watched the Valentine's Day episode of Charlie Brown. I had an amazing day - my significant others were the children in my class and everyone who loves me. You do not need to have a boyfriend or a girlfriend to have a great day - how overrated (just kidding). Tell me beauties - what did you do for Valentine's Day?!

I Heart Fall Tag!

Hello my beauties!
Today was a beautiful nice cool day and I even got to break out my sweater and boots! I'm sitting here with my pumpkin spice ice cream so I thought it would be a good time to do a tag that has been going around for well...ever! The Fall Tag! I hope you all enjoy and I tag ANYONE reading this to do it!

1. Favorite Fall Lip Product?
My favorite lip product will have to be my Maybelline Warm Me Up lipstick. This is the perfect nude color for a fall day. I have been on a search for a good berry color that compliments my pale skin - any recommendations?

2. Favorite Fall Nail Polish?
My favorite fall nail polish has to be anything dark. Dark purples, blacks, berries, and browns. I recently bought a nail polish from OPI's new Sanfransico line called A - Piers To Be Tan. This is a beautiful color that will be perfect for the cooler weather.

3. Favorite Fall Starbucks Drinks?
I am going to have to say a mocha frappachino with peppermint. Although it tastes like Christmas - it gets me excited for the fall. Also, I enjoy a pumpkin spice latte along with everyone else!

4. Favorite Fall Candle?
I love the candle I just picked up from Bath and Body Works called Apple Ale. I bought it two days ago and I have been burning it nonstop. It smells like apple, but after burning it for a while your house begins to smell like beer! Weird? Maybe. I love the smell of beer though and this is the perfect scent. It's the most cozy scent ever. I also really the candle Witches Brew from Yankee Candle!

5. Favorite Fall Scarf or accessory
I am not very into scarves but I love long necklaces and chunky jewelry! I am a sucker for any of the quirky jewelry by Betsey Johnson. I love to layer necklaces!

6. Haunted house, haunted hay ride, or haunted corn maze?

NONE OF THE ABOVE. I HATE being scared. I went on a haunted hayride, and in a haunted house ONCE and it was the worst thing I have ever done. I enjoy daytime hayrides through pumpkin patches and daylight corn mazes where no one pops out! :)

7. Favorite Halloween movie?
I love all the original Disney Channel Halloween Movies. Halloween Town is one of my favorites. My all time favorite Halloween movie is The Little Vampire. Also, I enjoy Coraline and The Nightmare Before Christmas!

8. Favorite candy to eat on Halloween?
I love when I got starbursts in my candy bag - but I love Hershey Bars!

9. What are you dressing up as for Halloween?!

I am not sure yet. I work with kids so each year all the staff members have a theme. Last year I was a pink crayon - it was the best costume ever. My mom made it for me and it was adorable!

10. What is your Favorite thing about Fall?
I love fall because it brings cooler weather (I HATE summer) and my birthday is in October. I love the scents of fall as well. I love being able to go get a nice hot drink and sitting at my local coffee shop with my friends after work. I love being able to layer my clothing too. Once fall begins it's automatically holiday time. My Birthday, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas, New Years. Fall is so magical!!

My Morning Routine during the weekdays! (Very detailed)

Hello my beauties!
Morning is my favorite time of the day - I feel so rejuvenated and excited to get on with my day. As cheesy as that sounds it's true. Everything about the morning time is beautiful!

When I first wake up (usually around 7 AM) I check my phone - and low and behold no one has texted me. (Who needs friends anyway?!) I check Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, the weather and and my email. After everything is checked I scramble out of my bed and walk into my kitchen. Every morning my mom has a cup of coffee waiting for me in my mug so I get my cup and walk outside and say good morning to my mom. She is usually out in the garden. I sit outside on the chair with Harmony (the cutest Pugapoo ever) and talk to my mom. When I am finished with my cup of coffee I go into the bathroom to wash my face.

The first thing I do is wash my hands with my Dove soap because it is not good to use oily or dirty hands on your face. Then I rinse my face with warm water and wash my face with one pump of Clean and Clear Morning Burst facial wash. I really love this facial cleanser because it smells absolutely divine and it really wakes me up.  I rub it in for about one minute and then rinse it off and pat my face dry. Once my face is nice and dry I get a cotton pad and use my Clean and Clean Sensitive Skin Toner. I rub this all over my face - I love the way it makes my face tingle! Once that is absorbed into my skin I take my Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Puff Eye Roller and rub it underneath my eyes and onto my brow bone. I'm going to be completely honest - I don't think this shows any results but I love the way it feels.

Once I am done in the bathroom I go into my room and pull itunes up onto my computer. I turn on some music I am currently into and this week it has been listening to Lorde in the morning! Next I sit down at my vanity and put moisutrizer all over my face. The one I use is Clean and Clear Dual Action Moisturizer.  I really love this moisturizer because even after I put on my makeup my face still has a cooling sensation. Usually my next step would be to apply a sunscreen but I ran out of mine. I use a sunscreen by Badger. Once everything is dry  I begin the fun stuff...makeup!

The foundation that I use in the morning is the new Maybelline Fit Me Shine Free stick foundation. I am in the shade 110 Porcelain. I rub the stick on my cheeks, chin, forehead and I rub it in with my fingers. (I find that this foundation applies better with fingers then a brush or sponge). After that I cover my under eye circles with my Maybelline Dark Spot Eraser.  Once that is blended in I cover my zits and scars with my Rimmel 2-in-1 Concealer and Highlighter. Once my face looks totally concealed from any blemishes or dark spots I set my face using my Pur Minerals 4 in 1 Pressed Mineral Foundation.

Next I apply my blush and highlighter! I never use a bronzer because I am very pale and every bronzer I have ever tried look to muddy and fake on my skin. If anyone has any reccomendations for a bronzer for extremely pale skin - please tell me! I usually switch between two blushes whenever I do my makeup. I will either use MAC's Sunday Afternoon Face Powder or Benefit's Dandelion. No matter which one I use I always go back to Sunday Afternoon and use the highlighter on my cheekbones, chin, temples, and nose!

To be completely honest - most of the time I do not wear a lot of eyeshadow. I am scared of dark eyes...I am no good at doing a smokey eye and dark eye shadows scare me! I love nudes and soft browns. Which is why I always apply Virgin and Sin from the Urban Decay Naked Palette to my lid and crease! I put Side Car from that same palette under my bottom lash line and I line my waterline with my Rimmel Scandal Eyes in Nude. Then I curl my eye lashes and apply my favorite mascara Benefit's Bad Gal Lash.

Once I am done with my face and eyes I apply my all time favorite lipstick Maybelline's Color Sensational Lip Color in Warm Me Up! Then I am all finished and I am out the door!

On the weekends I wear completely different makeup and have a whole different routine. I will do a separate weekend routine post.
I apologize for there being no pictures...I am still figuring out how to use Photoshop, Blogger, and any websites and programs related! Once I am more familier with everything I hope to be posting pictures left and right!

Have a wonderful day beauties!

My day has been MADE!

Hello my beauties!

So one of my favorite stores EVER is Kohls....I love going in there to check out their clearance clothing and I always get my workout clothes and jeans there.
Today my mom and I decided to go there and check out some sweaters for the fall...well...when I walked in I almost cried.

Front and center in the makeup and beauty department there was a humongous stand that held THE BALM products!!!!!! Then when I turned to the other shelf it was Lorac and some pur minerals!

I have been wanting to try products from the Balm for ever. I never wanted to buy it online though because I wanted to be able to swatch it. Now I finally get my chance.

Kohls still had a lot of products to bring out but I did get the one palette. I will do a review on it/haul tomorrow!

Run (don't walk) to your local Kohls and check it out!

I will talk to you later my beauties!

First actual blogger beauty post!

Good morning my beauties! Today I will be officially creating my first blog post on Blogger...I am very excited! My first blog post will be my morning routine so stay tuned! This will be up this afternoon!

Holy Holla- Peno!

Hello my beauties!
The other day I was watching a video on youtube by beauty guru JulieG. As some of you may know she has her own nail polish line through Jesse Girl cosmetics. Julie was talking about her new nail polish colors for the spring and I instantly fell in love with one of the colors.
I have never tried one of Julie’s nail polishes before but I just want to let you beauties know that now that I have, I may never try any other nail polish brand again.
The color that I fell in love with was Holla-Peno. It is the most beautiful shade of green that I have seen. It reminds me of a warm spring day looking at all the different flowers in my garden, or being at the beach soaking in the sun.
The consistency of the nail polish is wonderful, it goes on smoothly and the shine is incredible. To get the full effect of the color you need two coats, but if you went a lighter and more sheen color green, one coat would do just fine.
I also picked up another color from Julie’s collection and it’s the color Umbrella Drink. I would describe it as a shimmery orange creamsicle and it is beautiful.
I would advise all of you to go pick up some of the JulieG nail polishes from your local Rite – Aid. (It’s only available at that drugstore.) Or go onto JesseGirlcosmetics and order some of the colors for yourself.
You will not be disappointed.
Shine bright beauties!
Good Morning beauties!
This review will be all about my new favorite product the Essie Apricot Cuticle Oil.
Starting off, I have never been too into doing my nails. I work with kids all day so my nail polish chips and get’s ruined. Recently I went to the drugstore and I was just browsing the shelves when I came across this cuticle oil. I have never used one before, so I was very curious about what it was like. Literally you guys, I stared at it for about five minutes before I finally put it into my basket. It was in a box, so I wasn’t sure of how it smelled, but apricots are one of my favorite snacks so I was willing to take the chance.
The minute I got home I ripped it out of the box and used it. The brush is a normal standard nail polish brush which really helps you apply the product. I put it on my cuticles and HOLY SENSORY OVERLOAD! The smell is absolutely amazing. Beauties, it smells like a hot spring day that just makes you feel light and free and like you want to wear a flowy dress in a garden. (Anyone else have that desire? Just me? Oh.)
Anyway, you just massage it into your cuticles and that’s it. Is it the most necessary product? Not really, but it’s a nice little relaxation moment that I think everyone deserves. I use it once in the morning before work, and at night before I go to sleep. I think my nails look healthier then they have in times past and I really recommend you try it out.
You can purchase this cuticle oil at pretty much any drugstore or you can get it here at Ulta.
Try it out beauties!
